The Reel Transporter (RT) is engineered with an exceptionally thoughtful and flexible design, capable of handling reels ranging from 3000 mm to 5500 mm in diameter. Its operating cycle is straightforward, efficient, and built for demanding industrial environments.
Thanks to its telescopic construction, the RT can extend its beams to achieve the required width for approaching a reel in its resting position. Once aligned, the machine lowers itself into the side-movement mode. Using eight additional wheels and hydraulic cylinders, the beams move inward until they securely contact both sides of the reel.
After proper alignment, the load is locked in place using a rear locking boom, then raised to the designated transport height. During movement, the reel’s weight is distributed across 16 wheels, ensuring safe, stable, and even ground pressure.
Unloading follows the same steps in reverse order, ensuring simplicity and operator convenience.
